Here’s what you’ll need:

Fabrics (select three):
1/3-yard solid or tonal printed fabric for the foundation (enough to cut a 12 ½” x 12 ½” square)
1/3-yard tonal print for the stem and leaf appliques (Anna combines two different prints for her leaves)
1/3-yard floral print for the flower applique
Pencil
Scissors
Rotary cutter and mat
Quilting ruler (Anna suggests using a 12 ½” x 12 ½” gridded ruler and a long quilting ruler)
Straight pins
All-purpose thread to match your fabrics
Sewing machine
Iron and ironing surface
