  • 18” x 18” background fabric quilting cotton
  • 12” x 12” appliqué fabric quilting cotton (or fabric of your choice)
  • Thin cotton thread (50wt), one in a matching color for appliqué, one contrasting for basting
  • Appliqué needle (Carolyn uses Golden Eye Applique Needle No. 10)
  • Appliqué pins
  • Iron with ironing surface
