Here’s what you’ll need:

  • 16” square pillow insert
  • 1 ½ yards natural-colored canvas (cut to 18” x 34 ½” for a 16” pillow)
  • Primary-colored acrylic craft paints or fabric paints
  • Palette for paints
  • Paintbrushes (one for each paint color)
  • Marking chalk or pencil
  • Scissors
  • Sewing pins
  • Painter’s tape
  • Four 12” lengths of ribbon
  • Large ruler
  • Snips
  • Sewing machine
  • Light-colored thread
  • Iron
