Here’s what you’ll need:
- Simplicity Pattern #8151
- 1 ¾ yards denim (or other utility fabric)
- 6" fusible interfacing
- Thread
- Pins
- Fabric shears
- Sewing machine with buttonhole foot
- Denim sewing needle
- Iron and ironing surface
- Fabric marking pencil
- Seam ripper
- Bias tape (optional, if substituting for straps)
