Materials
Here’s what you’ll need:
  • Quilt block of your choice (Ashley demonstrates using Carolyn Friedlander’s Polk Block - set of 4 blocks sewn together to create a 14” square)
  • 20” square quilting cotton for back of pillow
  • 3 ½” strips of quilting cotton for sashing
  • 16” zipper
  • 19" square pillow form
  • Thread in coordinating color
  • Sewing machine
  • Zipper foot
  • Snips or seam ripper
  • Scissors
  • Rotary cutter
  • Clear gridded quilting ruler
  • Cutting mat
  • Pins
  • Iron and ironing board
